Sam Smith shows off his new shaggy beard in Miami

The singer, who is in Miami, showed off a new look with shaggy beard and shades after shaping up last year.
Strolling down the street with mates, the 23-year-old star looked happy and relaxed dressed in a casual grey t-shirt, jeans and a white jacket.
The Oscar-nominated singer is spending some time chilling out in the States as he continues to record his second album.
He’s also been celebrating after finding out he’s nominated for an Academy Award for his James Bond track, Writing’s On The Wall.
Talking about making the list, he said: “I am sitting in a coffee shop with my mum and just found out I have an Oscar nomination. Feeling very overwhelmed and just can’t believe it. Better pick out a gown. Thank you to the Academy for this incredible honor and recognition.”
He shared a pic on Instagram of him in Miami holding up a giant cocktail as he toasted his nomination in style.
The star is up against the likes of The Weeknd (Fifty Shades of Grey’s Earned It, Lady Gaga (The Hunting Ground’s Til It Happens To You) and David Lang (Youth’s Simple Song #3).
