Robin Thicke dedicates song to wife and tells packed crowd he WILL win her back

Written by on 28th February 2014

The Blurred Lines singer has told friends he will do anything to win his wife back.

Robin Thicke has launched his battle to win wife Paula Patton back – dedicating a song to her and talking about their break-up to packed crowd.

The Blurred Lines singer was back performing last night and told crowds in Fairfax, Virginia, he was trying to get into his wife’s good books.

Thicke, who was wearing his wedding ring, told fans: “For y’all that don’t know me and my wife separated, but I’m trying to get my girl back. She’s a good woman.”

He added that he wrote hit “Lost Without U” for Paula – then sang it to a delighted audience.

The twerk loving hitmaker has even axed three consecutive concerts on his North American tour after announcing earlier this week that he had parted ways from his wife of almost nine years.

Sources close to the sunglasses wearing superstar told TMZ he doesn’t want his three-year-old son Julian raised in two separate homes and has even promised not to party after his next gig in Washington.

This news comes as Robin was a no-show at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in North Carolina last night.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Robin Thicke will postpone his performance at Harrah’s Cherokee originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 25,” the venue said in a statement. “This concert will be rescheduled and the new date announced as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience.”

He previously scrapped gigs on Friday in Atlanta and Saturday in Orlando, blaming vocal issues, but instead was seen jetting to Vancouver, where actress Paula is currently filming, in a reported bid to save his marriage.

The 36-year-old star said last week: “I never want to let down my fans but I have unfortunately lost my voice and cannot perform tomorrow night.”

Robin is expected to continue his tour this Thursday at the GMU Patriot Centre in Washington, DC.

The couple – who have three-year-old son Julian together – announced they had “mutually decided to separate at this time”, but will remain “best friends”.
